AI Engineering Lead

Role summary

This is a remote AI engineering leadership position for a member of technical staff who will help design and scale next-generation systems for AI-driven recruiting. The work centers on building advanced products that improve how companies discover, evaluate, and connect with talent using frontier AI capabilities.

The role is based remotely and is open to candidates who can work from anywhere. The compensation range is stated as USD 160,000 to USD 300,000 per year.

What you will do

You will design, build, and deploy scalable AI systems and supporting infrastructure. The position also involves advancing multimodal AI capabilities and integrating large language models into the core platform.

You will work closely with product, research, and engineering stakeholders to turn business and technical needs into reliable solutions. In addition, you will contribute to how AI systems learn, reason, and perform across domains such as finance, healthcare, engineering, and similar areas.

Part of the work includes hands-on contribution to the client’s AI recruiter model, Zara, with the goal of creating new systems that reshape how organizations identify and engage talent.

Requirements

The ideal candidate should have a track record of building and deploying scalable AI models and infrastructure with Python and AWS.

Experience with advanced LLMs and multimodal systems, including text, audio, video, and visual inputs, is required. You should also be comfortable working across teams and explaining technical ideas clearly to product, research, and engineering partners.

A strong understanding of the strengths and limitations of large language models and multimodal AI is important, along with strong analytical thinking and problem-solving ability.
