About the role
The Associate Health Services Manager supports commercial growth across one or more partnerships with health plans and pharmacy benefit managers (PBMs). In this role, you will help shape and execute partner strategies that move opportunities through the pipeline and contribute to closing business with assigned channel partners. You will also work across teams to keep partner operations running smoothly and to maintain a high standard of execution.
Typical responsibilities include coordinating with external and internal stakeholders, handling day-to-day communication with carrier partnership teams, and connecting partner account executives with regional sales teams. A large part of the job involves preparing for important meetings, participating in them, and helping advance broader strategic priorities.
The right candidate has experience working with or alongside health plans and/or PBMs and understands how these organizations operate and compete in the market. Strong organization, clear written and spoken communication, relationship-building ability, and a strong service mindset are essential. Curiosity about digital health and enthusiasm for Hinge Health’s mission are also important.
Key responsibilities
- Move partner initiatives ahead by organizing meetings, coordinating internal and external contributors, and gathering the inputs needed to keep partnerships progressing steadily.
- Act as an internal subject matter resource for partnership-related matters, including partner structure, partnership priorities and strategy, and major friction points, while sharing key updates with the broader team.
- Respond to partner questions quickly and accurately while strengthening relationships with both external contacts and internal stakeholders.
Qualifications and preferred background
- Ability to build trusted relationships and serve as a credible thought partner.
- Experience managing several projects at the same time, from initial discovery through execution, while meeting required timelines and success measures.
- Strong attention to detail combined with strategic thinking and a broader business perspective.
- Comfort working with data and synthesizing information into clear insights and practical recommendations.
- Strong prioritization skills in an environment with competing demands.
- Self-directed working style with minimal oversight and a focus on accuracy.
- Ownership mindset, including understanding how to work with external partners while protecting confidential information and communicating value effectively.
- Professional presence and the ability to communicate confidently across different levels of the organization.
- Interest in, or experience with, the health plan segment.
