Business Development - Property Acquisition

About the role

Lenskart is looking for a commercially minded professional to help expand its retail footprint by identifying, evaluating, and securing suitable store locations in the Nagpur region. The role focuses on finding the right properties for new eyewear stores and ensuring the acquisition process moves smoothly from search to launch.

Key responsibilities

• Search for appropriate commercial retail spaces for upcoming Lenskart stores in the assigned region.
• Work closely with property owners, developers, project consultants, and brokers to source viable locations.
• Study the catchment area and assess the location suitability for new store openings.
• Negotiate commercial terms, finalize rent, and discuss landlord scope of work requirements.
• Handle legal checks, documentation, and the paperwork needed for acquisition and signing.
• Coordinate with internal teams throughout the process until the store is ready to launch.
• Build and maintain a healthy pipeline of growth opportunities through both expansion and acquisitions.

Candidate profile

• The ideal candidate may bring 1 to 20 years of experience in business development, property acquisition, or property scouting.
• Should have strong negotiation ability, a proactive mindset, and an entrepreneurial approach to work.
• Needs to be self-driven, innovative, and highly committed to delivering results.
• Must be comfortable working in a fast-moving, collaborative, and flexible team environment.
• Should demonstrate strong analytical, evaluation, and problem-solving skills.
• Good personal integrity and the ability to work effectively with different stakeholders are important.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft PowerPoint is required.
