Role Overview
The Cashier will support guest-facing operations in a luxury hotel environment in Dubai. This role focuses on accurate payment handling, courteous service, and maintaining smooth billing and guest support across hotel services.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcome guests in a polished and professional manner that reflects high-end hospitality standards.
- Process charges for rooms, dining, spa, and other hotel services through the property’s POS system.
- Accept and reconcile payments made by cash, credit card, and debit card with a high level of accuracy.
- Share helpful information about the hotel’s facilities, services, and nearby attractions to support the guest experience.
- Respond to billing questions and resolve discrepancies quickly and respectfully, escalating more complex matters when needed.
- Keep the cashier station tidy, well arranged, and aligned with the hotel’s presentation and cleanliness expectations.
- Support check-in and check-out activities to help ensure a seamless guest journey.
Requirements
- Prior experience working as a cashier or in a guest-facing role, ideally in a luxury hotel or hospitality setting.
- Strong verbal communication and interpersonal abilities with a service-oriented approach.
- Good organizational skills and close attention to detail, especially in a busy, fast-moving environment.
- Ability to maintain accuracy while handling transactions and assisting guests.
