Role overview
This full-time Cleaner role is based in office premises in Stoke-On-Trent. You will be part of a cleaning team responsible for keeping the workplace clean, safe, and presentable across the site.
What you will do
Reporting to the Cleaning Team Leader, you will receive tasks and complete them within the required timeframes while maintaining a consistently high standard of cleanliness.
Your work will cover a range of areas such as offices, breakout areas, and washrooms. Duties will include routine cleaning tasks and safe handling of cleaning materials and equipment in line with Manual Handling and COSHH requirements.
Main duties
- Carry out day-to-day cleaning across office, washroom, and shared spaces.
- Sanitise washrooms, vacuum and mop floors, and dust surfaces at both high and low levels.
- Use cleaning machinery such as buffer machines and carpet cleaners where required.
- Complete tasks allocated by the Cleaning Team Leader.
- Restock cleaning and washroom supplies when needed.
- Finish scheduled cleaning work promptly and to a high standard.
Experience and skills
Previous cleaning experience is useful, and familiarity with industrial cleaning equipment will be an advantage. Full training will be provided to help you perform well in the role.
You should be comfortable working to detailed standards, show strong attention to detail, and be able to work both independently and as part of a team. Basic computer knowledge is preferred, and an understanding of COSHH is important.
Working pattern
The role is typically worked Monday to Friday between 07:30 and 16:00.
