What You Will Do

  • Carry out cleaning tasks in line with IPAC best practices.
  • Complete routine duties such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, polishing, and vacuuming.
  • Remove trash, clean washrooms, and perform cleaning after patient discharge.
  • Apply company and IPAC procedures for admission rooms, discharge rooms, isolation rooms, and outbreak-related cleaning of client rooms and units.
  • Make sure assigned rooms are maintained and checked to the organization’s standards.
  • Keep cleaning tools and equipment in good condition and report any issues or deficiencies.
  • Escalate damage, missing items, or disruptions to the appropriate supervisor.
