Role overview

The Cloud Network Security Engineer will be responsible for managing, supporting, and improving network and security infrastructure across on-premises environments and public cloud platforms. The role calls for strong enterprise networking knowledge, practical cloud networking experience, and the ability to troubleshoot issues in production environments at scale.

Responsibilities

• Work with large-scale enterprise network operations and implementation across data center and public cloud environments using standard networking technologies.
• Support public cloud networking on at least one of the major platforms such as AWS, Azure, GCP, or OCI.
• Contribute to the design and understanding of enterprise networks spanning data centers, campuses, public cloud environments, and global WAN links.
• Apply networking knowledge across IPv4/IPv6, BGP, VPNs, L2 switching, and VxLAN.
• Operate and support multi-vendor network hardware and software environments, including Arista, Cisco, Meraki, and Palo Alto Networks.
• Assist with load balancer technologies such as Citrix NetScaler, AVI Load Balancer, NGINX, and HAProxy where needed.
• Handle network-layer security controls such as firewalls, 802.1x, network authentication systems, and VPN solutions.
• Maintain network and security infrastructure across AWS, Azure, GCP, and OCI cloud environments.
• Help ensure stable and high-performing on-premises and public cloud network operations.
• Monitor the support queue, investigate network issues, identify root causes, and carry out corrective actions.
• Work in a shift-rotation schedule as required.

Requirements

• At least 4 years of hands-on experience in network operations and enterprise network implementation at scale.
• Practical experience with one or more public cloud platforms; exposure to network certifications for public cloud environments is a plus.
• Strong understanding of enterprise network architecture, including data center, campus, cloud, and WAN connectivity.
• Solid knowledge of IPv4/IPv6, BGP, VPNs, layer 2 switching, and VxLAN.
• Experience with multiple vendors, including Arista, Cisco IOS/NX-OS, Meraki wireless, and Palo Alto Networks.
• Exposure to load balancers such as Citrix NetScaler, AVI, NGINX, or HAProxy is preferred.
• Knowledge of security technologies including firewalls, 802.1x, network authentication, and VPNs.
• Willingness to work rotational shifts.

Additional Information

This role is based in Bangalore Rural, India. The offered compensation is INR 12,00,000 to 22,00,000 per year.
