Role overview
This is a contract event operations role centered in the New York City area. The position is hourly and requires the flexibility to support both half-day and full-day events each week, including events in other U.S. and Canadian markets. Bisnow provides the full event calendar in advance, and willingness to travel for events is an important part of the job. The assignment is expected to run through June 2027, with a strong chance of becoming permanent. The role is based hybrid at 123 William Street, New York, NY 10038.

What you'll do
- Oversee on-site event coordination for live Bisnow events.
- Confirm venues, audio-visual needs, catering, and party rentals ahead of each event while working to tight deadlines.
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with vendors and venue teams in target markets.
- Arrange and collect name tags and signage before the event, then prepare registration before attendees arrive.
- Transport signage and materials to the event location, handle setup, and ensure everything is removed safely after the event ends.
- Handle ticket requests and payments on-site using Bisnow's Square account.
- Support sponsoring clients throughout the event process so they feel informed and taken care of.
- Provide internal teams with event photos, videos, sponsor presentations, and related support for marketing, social media, and sales.
- Coordinate with rental vendors to set up stages, chairs, and AV equipment.
- Research competing conferences and help finalize event dates and times.
- Work in a fast-moving environment that suits energetic, collaborative event professionals.
What we're looking for
- 1 to 4 years of experience in live event coordination or event management.
- A self-directed, entrepreneurial approach with strong discipline, organization, and ambition.
- A positive, high-energy attitude and excellent communication skills.
- Comfort working closely with a fast-paced sales team.
- Reliable, adaptable, and willing to adjust to changing event needs.
