Control & Reporting Analyst

Role overview

This position sits within PepsiCo’s PGCS financial reporting team and plays an important part in maintaining accurate and timely general ledger close reporting for PGCS entities. The role contributes to periodic close work, supports compliance with US GAAP, PepsiCo internal policies, and SOX controls, and works with teams across regions to uphold strong financial reporting standards.

This is a specified purpose contract position lasting up to 18 months.

About the team

The PGCS concentrate organisation within PepsiCo works across Beverage, Nutrition, and Snacks to supply concentrate for major brands such as Gatorade, 7Up, and Pepsi. The team is central to the business, sourcing ingredients and supporting the manufacture of more than 1,200 recipes. With operations across 15 locations in 6 countries, the organisation offers opportunities across Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Procurement, Quality, Finance, R&D, HR, and IT. The environment is fast-moving, global, and collaborative, with a focus on creating and delivering well-known household brands worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Support period-end flash file preparation so reporting is accurate and submitted on time for close and management deadlines.
• Carry out balance sheet reconciliations and investigate as well as clear variances in line with internal control and SOX expectations.
• Handle confirmation workflows, including intercompany and audit confirmations, with full accuracy and prompt turnaround.
• Partner with internal and external auditors by supplying requested documents, responding to queries, and supporting audit activity efficiently.
• Work in coordination with Control & Reporting, FP&A, and other finance stakeholders to protect data integrity and keep processes aligned.

Required qualifications and experience

• Qualified accountant status such as ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or an equivalent background, or closely relevant experience.
• Strong working knowledge of general ledger accounting and month-end or period-end close routines.
• Practical experience using SAP.
• Well-developed analytical ability with strong focus on accuracy and detail.
• Good understanding of US GAAP and internal control frameworks.
• Comfortable working to strict deadlines in a busy, international environment.
