Role Overview

The Data Science & Solutions group is looking for a junior analytics professional to help support research, manufacturing, and analytical data work within a biotech setting.

What You Will Do

• Build, run, and maintain analytical workflows, scripts, dashboards, and reporting outputs.
• Work with biological, assay, and research data sets, including transcriptomics and proteomics information.
• Extract, clean, standardize, combine, and resolve issues across multiple data sources and systems.
• Assist with RNA-seq and proteomics preprocessing, quality checks, and exploratory analysis under supervision.
• Create charts, tables, summaries, and technical documents for internal reports and presentations.
• Keep analyses, datasets, and documentation organized, traceable, and reproducible in line with internal procedures and SOPs.
• Help manage cloud storage, databases, and shared data repositories.
• Support automation, cloud-based processing, and data handling using tools such as AWS, Git, and scripting languages.
• Look into data gaps, mismatches, and technical problems affecting analysis and reporting.
• Work closely with R&D, Manufacturing, Quality, and Data Science teams.

Preferred Background

Ideal candidates may hold an MS or PhD in Bioinformatics, Data Science, Statistics, Computational Biology, Biology, or a related discipline. However, relevant industry experience may be accepted instead of an advanced degree.

Additional Qualifications

• Hands-on experience using R or Python for data analysis.
• Exposure to transcriptomics, RNA-seq, or proteomics data.
• Basic knowledge of statistical methods and data visualization.
• SQL and AWS experience are advantageous.
• Prior work in biotechnology or regulated lab/manufacturing environments is a plus.
• Experience with structured data, databases, or version control tools such as Git is beneficial.
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
• High attention to detail and the ability to juggle several tasks or projects at once.
