Role overview
As a Design Specialist, you will create and refine visual concepts and technical designs that support product and system development. The role involves producing graphics and layouts, developing design drafts, maintaining CAD models, and working closely with cross-functional project teams. You will also research market and design trends, prepare presentations and documentation, and align design solutions with internal stakeholders. This is a full-time position based in the Greater Schweinfurt Area, with a hybrid setup that allows part of the work to be done from home.
Responsibilities
- Develop and improve visual concepts and technical design solutions for product and system development.
- Create graphics, layouts, and design drafts that present complex technical content in a clear and appealing way.
- Build and maintain CAD models, drawings, and related technical documentation.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary project teams throughout the design process.
- Research market movements and design trends to support informed design decisions.
- Prepare presentations and supporting documents for internal use and stakeholder discussions.
- Coordinate and align design proposals with relevant internal teams and decision-makers.
Requirements
- Strong capability in graphic design and visual communication, with the ability to present technical topics clearly.
- Experience or understanding of architecture and product design, including spatial relationships and functional design needs.
- Proficiency with CAD tools and other relevant design software for creating precise models, drawings, and documentation.
- Well-developed research skills to analyze trends and customer needs in a structured, data-driven manner.
- A completed degree or an equivalent qualification in design, architecture, engineering, or a related field.
- Confident use of common design and CAD software.
- Good communication skills, a structured working style, teamwork, and interest in innovative mobility solutions.
Additional information
The role is offered in a hybrid format, combining on-site work in the Greater Schweinfurt Area with the option to work from home for part of the responsibilities.
