About the Company
Terry Soot Management Group (TSMG) is a European field data collection company established in 2017. The company gathers real-world information in situations where automation cannot do the job, including counting features, photographing locations, recording video and speech, and scanning areas to capture detailed data for better decision-making. Its teams operate across Europe and North America.
Project Summary
This assignment focuses on collecting clear visual data of streets, important landmarks, and public spaces across EU countries. The work is carried out using vehicles fitted with detachable 360° cameras and lidar equipment, allowing drivers to record detailed surroundings. The collected information is saved on onboard SSD computers and later used to improve a major online mapping platform.
Data collectors will work from pre-planned routes and concentrate on public roads, retail zones, and points of interest. In some cases, locations may need to be revisited when weather conditions are more suitable to achieve the best possible image quality.
The project length depends on the amount of work required in each area, with typical assignments lasting about 3 to 6 months of active work.
Work Schedule
This is a full-time role with standard working hours between 8 AM and 7 PM.
