EHS Officer (Telecom)

Role Overview

This full-time onsite opportunity is for an EHS Officer to support telecom projects across the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, with the base location in Riyadh. The role focuses on maintaining strong environment, health, and safety standards across field operations and project sites.

Compensation and Joining

The salary offered is SAR 4,000 to SAR 5,000 per month. The employer is looking for someone who can start immediately.

Nationality Preference

Arabic nationals and Egyptian nationals are preferred for this position.

What the Role Involves

• Oversee EHS standards across telecom project sites and field activities.
• Carry out inspections, safety audits, and risk reviews for installation and maintenance work.
• Make sure client safety expectations, Saudi legal requirements, and internal policies are followed.
• Lead toolbox talks, safety briefings, inductions, and awareness sessions for field teams.
• Track high-risk activities such as working at height, tower climbing, rigging, excavation, and electrical work.
• Look into incidents, near misses, and unsafe situations, then suggest and follow up on corrective actions.
• Maintain HSE paperwork, reports, permit files, and safety logs.
• Verify correct PPE usage and enforcement of site safety procedures.
• Work closely with project managers, site engineers, and client contacts on safety-related matters.
• Assist with emergency preparedness and incident response.
• Help strengthen a proactive safety mindset across all telecom operations.

Requirements

• NEBOSH IGC certification is required.
• 3 to 5 years of EHS experience in telecom projects is needed.
• Background in telecom towers, wireless, fiber, FTTH, OSP/ISP, or mobile network projects is preferred.
• Solid understanding of HSE rules, risk assessment methods, and permit-to-work controls.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, along with reporting ability.
• Availability to join immediately.
• Arabic fluency is preferred.
