Electronic Technician

Company Overview

Z Sports is growing its team for a newly launched multi-sports destination in Dubai. The business is building out several roles for people who are enthusiastic about technology, gaming, and customer-focused entertainment environments.

Role Summary

This full-time, on-site position is responsible for setting up, calibrating, and maintaining the electronic systems and equipment used in sports courts, gaming zones, and wider facility operations. The technician will handle inspections, fault finding, repairs, and ongoing upkeep to keep all electrical and electronic components operating safely and reliably.

Key Duties

• Install, configure, and support electronic equipment across the facility.
• Carry out regular checks, testing, and diagnostics to identify issues early.
• Repair faults, replace damaged parts, and perform soldering work where needed.
• Manage preventive maintenance activities and keep service records up to date.
• Work alongside operations and technology teams during equipment launches and upgrades.
• Support the e-gaming area and contribute to a smooth guest experience.
• Troubleshoot problems across PCs, PS5 units, racing simulators, and related systems.

Requirements

• Solid understanding of electronics technology and electricity, including the ability to read technical manuals and schematics.
• Practical experience with troubleshooting and diagnostics for electronic, electrical, and gaming systems.
• Strong soldering ability for component-level fixes and assembly work.
• Background in maintenance and repair of electronic equipment or facility systems.
• A technical diploma or certification in electronics, electrical engineering, or a similar field.
• High attention to detail, a safety-first approach, and the ability to perform well in a busy environment.
• Comfort using basic computer tools for logs, reporting, and communication.
• Ability to work with cross-functional teams and explain technical issues clearly to non-technical colleagues.
• Experience in gaming and customer service is required for the e-gaming area.
• Familiarity with AI or smart systems would be considered an advantage.

Additional Information

This role also involves overseeing the e-gaming section of the facility. The position is based in Dubai and is intended for someone who can contribute both technical support and a strong guest-service mindset.
