Role Overview

The college is hiring an Exams Officer to support the examinations function within a designated curriculum area. This position requires subject-area familiarity with awarding bodies and responsibility for making sure the exams process is compliant, well registered, properly prepared, and efficiently organised. The role supports the smooth delivery of examinations across further education, higher education, and apprenticeship provision.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage a designated curriculum area and maintain expertise in the relevant awarding body requirements.
• Oversee exam compliance, registrations, preparation, and coordination.
• Help ensure examinations run smoothly across further education, higher education, and apprenticeship programmes.
• Support the organisation of all requirements needed for the exams process.

Additional Information

The advertised salary is £26,801 to £27,595 per annum. The closing date for applications is 8 July 2026. Applicants who are successful will be required to complete an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service check, along with children and adults barred list checks where the role involves regulated activity.
