About the role
Qiddiya Investment Company is seeking a Stage Operations Coordinator to help plan and run stage-related work for events and performances. This position focuses on coordinating technical elements, working with production teams, and keeping rehearsals and live events running smoothly. You will collaborate with vendors, performers, and internal stakeholders to help create high-quality stage experiences.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare and maintain studio operations paperwork such as client packs, site directions, supplier contact details, site maps for production, and supplier lists.
- Work with different departments to keep annual production schedules and facility bookings organized.
- Support the planning and delivery of production logistics, including the setup and strike process for productions coming into Qiddiya Studios.
- Handle operational issues together with the Senior Studio Operations Director while ensuring studio procedures are followed.
- Oversee the studio backlot area appropriately for incoming productions.
- Partner with Facility Management to keep studio-use records and operational expense records accurate and well organized.
- Support the Senior Director, Studio Operations in rolling out safety procedures and emergency response plans for the Film Studios.
- Work with the Health and Safety Manager for Film Studios to make sure site inductions for incoming productions are clear and effective.
- Help build a cooperative and productive atmosphere for all studio staff and production crews.
- Assist, where needed, with tracking operating costs related to the Film Studio site.
- Act as a practical problem-solver and dependable communicator between production operations on site and the Film Studios operations team.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree, or equivalent practical experience, in Event Management, Theater Production, Technical Theater, or a similar discipline.
- At least 2 years of experience in stage operations, event production, or a comparable role.
- Strong planning, organization, and multitasking capability.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work well with others.
- Working knowledge of stage hardware, audio-visual systems, and safety procedures.
- Comfortable working under pressure and meeting demanding deadlines.
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays when required.
