F&B Support Expert (Order Taker)

Role overview

This position is focused on supporting food and beverage service so guests receive a smooth, memorable dining experience. The role contributes behind the scenes and on the floor by helping with service flow, table setup, kitchen coordination, cleanliness, and supply replenishment. The aim is to make every transaction feel seamless and guest-oriented.

Key duties

The F&B Support Expert helps operations stay organized and efficient by stepping in where needed during service.

• Prepare and reset tables to service standards.
• Assist kitchen and service teams to keep operations moving smoothly.
• Clean service and work areas throughout the shift.
• Restock supplies and ensure essentials are available.
• Support guest service in a professional, hands-on manner.
• Carry out additional reasonable duties as assigned.

Work expectations

This role requires maintaining a safe work environment, following company policies, upholding quality standards, and presenting a professional appearance and manner of communication at all times.

The job is physically active and may involve standing, sitting, or walking for long periods, moving across uneven or slippery surfaces, reading and verifying menu details, and handling objects up to 25 pounds independently or up to 50 pounds with assistance. The role also includes bending, twisting, reaching overhead and below the knees, pulling, pushing, carrying, lifting, and stooping as needed.

Education and experience

A high school diploma or GED-equivalent is preferred. No prior work experience is required, although experience in food and beverage service is considered an advantage. No supervisory background or certification is needed.
