Formulator & Quality Control Manager

About the Role

An international recruitment agency based in Noida is looking to hire a Formulator & Quality Control Manager for work in Zambia or South Africa. This position sits in the cosmetics and personal care space and focuses on creating new products while keeping quality standards strong throughout the process.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and refine cosmetic and personal care formulations.
• Oversee quality control and quality assurance activities across the product lifecycle.
• Assess and test raw materials before they are used in production.
• Ensure products and processes align with applicable regulatory requirements.
• Maintain proper records, technical files, and compliance documentation.
• Lead teams involved in quality control and support continuous improvement initiatives.
• Improve processes to raise product consistency, safety, and efficiency.

Requirements

• 5 to 10 years of relevant experience in the cosmetics or personal care industry.
• Hands-on background in formulation work for cosmetic or personal care products.
• Strong understanding of quality systems and regulatory expectations.
• Good analytical thinking and problem-solving ability.
• Experience handling quality control operations and related workflows.
• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Cosmetic Science, Pharmaceutical Science, or a closely related subject.

Compensation and Benefits

The offered pay is INR 1,200,000 to INR 1,800,000 per year. Additional support includes food, accommodation, medical coverage, and transportation, along with other benefits as required by government law.

Location

This is an onsite opportunity in Zambia or South Africa.
