Role Overview

This freelance logistics role sits within the logistics industry and is based in the United States. The engagement is expected to run for 1 to 2 months.

What You’ll Do

Take ownership of warehouse, distribution, inventory, and customer service activities, ensuring they are organized and well coordinated.
Oversee the end-to-end order process, covering inventory control, shipment planning, and required documentation.
Track logistics KPIs, evaluate performance trends, and introduce improvements that strengthen efficiency and lower operating costs.
Work closely with suppliers, manufacturers, retailers, and customers to align operations and keep the supply chain moving smoothly.
Spot operational risks, including supply chain interruptions and compliance-related issues, and put safeguards in place to reduce them.

What We’re Looking For

A bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a closely related field.
At least 5 years of steady experience in logistics or operations.
Strong capability in building and using advanced Excel models for planning, forecasting, and business decisions.
Practical experience with ERP platforms such as NetSuite or similar systems, including item master oversight and BOM accuracy.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities, with confidence in supporting executive-level decisions.

Compensation

The hourly rate depends on experience and is provided as an estimated range by the client.
