Freelance Presentation Designer

Role overview

We are seeking an experienced Presentation Designer to support a Tendem project focused on advanced storytelling workflows within a blended AI and human production process. In this freelance, remote position, you will work alongside AI agents that handle repetitive tasks, while you contribute the judgment, subject-matter understanding, and design execution needed to produce polished, high-impact presentations.

This role suits creative professionals with practical experience in visual communication, information design, and narrative-led presentation work. You should be comfortable taking complex ideas, data, and strategic messaging and turning them into persuasive slides and one-pagers.

Core work

You will design premium pitch decks and professional one-pagers for different audiences, shape complex information into concise visual stories, and maintain a strong sense of hierarchy, clarity, and minimalism. The work also involves refining layouts with custom typography, refined motion, and consistent brand expression. Final outputs must meet a high standard for alignment, pacing, and overall visual quality.

How the work is structured

This is a part-time freelance assignment. Qualified candidates are expected to complete screening steps and then contribute to matched projects according to their expertise and availability, on a flexible schedule.

Compensation and time commitment

Estimated workload is around 10 to 20 hours per week during active project periods. This is only an approximation and may vary based on project needs. The role can pay up to the equivalent of 50 USD per hour, depending on experience level and contribution pace. Pay may differ across projects.

Your CV must also include a portfolio link showcasing high-end presentations, pitch decks, and data visualization work. Applications without a portfolio link, or without relevant presentation examples, will not be reviewed.

Requirements

Applicants should have at least 2 years of relevant experience in graphic design, presentation design, visual storytelling, or data visualization. A bachelor's or master's degree in Graphic Design, Fine Arts, Visual Communications, or a related creative field is advantageous. Strong English skills at upper-intermediate level (B2) or above are required.

You should also be proficient in presentation software such as PowerPoint or Keynote, and comfortable using Adobe Creative Suite, including Illustrator and Photoshop, or Figma. Experience working with complex data, layered information structures, custom typography, animations, and premium corporate-creative layouts is expected. A meticulous eye for detail, strong self-direction, and the ability to solve design problems independently are important.

Only candidates with a portfolio containing high-end presentation and data visualization examples will be considered. The opportunity is remote and flexible, with work assigned on an as-needed basis when projects are active.
