Role overview
This part-time remote position is for an HR Specialist supporting a client’s workforce operations from anywhere. The focus of the role is to help manage day-to-day HR activities, answer employee questions, keep records accurate, and support compliance with relevant employment laws.
What you will do
- Handle employee queries about benefits, workplace policies, and internal procedures.
- Keep HR documentation organized, current, and confidential, including personnel files and related records.
- Support onboarding for new hires and offboarding for employees leaving the organization.
- Track adherence to federal, state, and local labor requirements and regulations.
- Work with management to resolve workplace concerns and identify better ways of handling HR processes.
Skills and qualifications
- Previous experience in human resources or a closely related support role is needed.
- Working knowledge of HR policies and employment law is required.
- Experience using HR systems or databases is an advantage.
- Strong planning, organization, and time management skills are important.
- You must be able to manage sensitive employee information with care and discretion.
Compensation
The pay range for this opportunity is USD 10 to 36 per hour.
