Role Overview
This is a full-time, on-site Human Resources Coordinator position based in Austin, TX, supporting a hospital environment. The role is centered on hands-on HR operations and close collaboration with both local leaders and the HR Shared Services team. The annual salary range for this position is $60,000 to $70,000.

What You Will Do
- Oversee and coordinate daily HR activities at the hospital site, ensuring reliable execution throughout the employee experience.
- Work with HR Shared Services to support payroll, benefits, recruiting, employee records, and HR administration.
- Provide responsive, service-focused support to employees and leaders.
- Help manage payroll accuracy, timekeeping processes, and data quality.
- Assist with hiring activities, onboarding, and workforce planning support.
- Help ensure compliance with employment regulations, licensing rules, and other applicable standards.
- Serve as the local go-to person for benefits, policies, and HR procedures.
- Support employee relations matters with professionalism, judgment, and consistency.
- Contribute to a healthy and productive workplace culture.
- Share observations and ideas that improve HR operations and overall strategy at the hospital level.

Minimum Qualifications
- A bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related discipline, or an equivalent mix of education and experience.
- At least 2 years of experience working in Human Resources.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office and HR-related computer systems.
Preferred Background
- Experience across a broad range of HR functions is preferred.
- Prior HR experience in a healthcare setting, especially with exposure to Joint Commission and CMS requirements, is preferred.
- Comfort with benefits administration, core HR work, payroll administration, and state and federal employment laws is preferred.
- The role calls for strong attention to detail, sound problem-solving ability, good observation skills, awareness of group dynamics, and strong interpersonal judgment.
