Role Overview
This position supports the Cost Controller with everyday purchasing activities and helps keep hotel operations well supplied so each department can function smoothly and efficiently.
Key Duties
- Assist with the hotel’s day-to-day procurement and purchasing flow under the direction of the Cost Controller.
- Work from the stores and receiving areas as assigned by the Cost Controller.
- Handle the safe and accurate collection of purchases and deliveries, including coordination of outside transport and delivery movements.
- Operate the vehicle when required for cash purchases or for collecting credit deliveries that vendors are unable to deliver directly.
