Role Overview
The Centre for Inclusive Employment is seeking an entry-level IT Support Test QA Analyst who is interested in both technical support and software quality assurance. In this full-time onsite position in Australia, you will help validate that applications and systems operate as expected, assist end users with technical concerns, and contribute to testing work that strengthens reliability and performance.
What You Will Do
- Run functional, regression, and system tests across software applications.
- Record, monitor, and manage defects, issues, and test outcomes.
- Confirm that bug fixes work correctly and that quality expectations are met.
- Handle first-line support for application and system-related problems.
- Guide users through troubleshooting steps and issue resolution.
- Prepare and update test cases, test plans, and related QA documentation.
- Work alongside developers and project teams to raise product quality.
- Assist with software rollouts, upgrades, and implementation tasks.
- Keep clear and accurate logs of support requests and testing activity.
What We’re Looking For
- A diploma or degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a similar discipline.
- Basic knowledge of software testing and quality assurance principles.
- Exposure to web applications and software development workflows is helpful.
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving ability.
- Careful attention to detail and good organisational skills.
- Strong written and spoken communication skills.
- Ability to work on your own as well as contribute to a team.
- Willingness to learn QA tools, testing practices, and support systems.
- Prior internship, technical support, or testing exposure is beneficial but not essential.
