About the Role
We are looking for a motivated Junior UI Designer who brings creativity, precision, and a strong interest in digital product design. This opportunity is well suited to early-career designers and recent graduates who want to build practical experience while shaping polished, user-friendly interfaces.
In this position, you will work with UX designers, product managers, and developers to create modern interfaces for web and mobile products. The role offers hands-on exposure to real product work and a chance to grow your design capability in a collaborative environment.
Responsibilities
- Develop interface elements for web and mobile applications.
- Produce detailed mockups, layouts, and supporting visual assets.
- Help maintain design systems and UI component libraries.
- Partner with UX teams to turn user needs into visual solutions.
- Keep digital products aligned with brand standards and design consistency.
- Work with developers to support accurate design implementation.
- Take part in design reviews and refine work based on stakeholder input.
- Track current UI design trends and apply best practices where relevant.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, UI Design, Digital Media, Interaction Design, or a closely related discipline.
- A portfolio showing design assignments, academic work, internships, freelance work, or personal projects.
- Working knowledge of Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, or similar UI design tools.
- Solid understanding of typography, colour theory, spacing, and visual hierarchy.
- Strong eye for detail and a creative approach to problem-solving.
- Good communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with others.
- Basic understanding of UX principles and user-centered design.
- Awareness of responsive design and accessibility practices.
- Familiarity with HTML and CSS fundamentals.
- Exposure to prototyping tools is preferred.
- Internship, freelance, or academic project experience is considered an advantage.
