Role overview

STANCO Solutions Pvt Ltd is hiring a Machine Setter for its manufacturing operations in Kochi, Kerala. This role focuses on injection moulding machine setup, mould changes, production support, and maintaining consistent quality on the shop floor.

Key responsibilities

• Handle mould replacement, machine setup, and initial machine start-up activities.
• Adjust process settings and fine-tune equipment for better machine output.
• Identify and resolve moulding defects as well as other machine-related problems.
• Check that finished products meet the required quality standards and specifications.
• Manage routine preventive maintenance tasks and work with the maintenance team during breakdowns.
• Work to reduce cycle time, raw material loss, and production interruptions.
• Maintain compliance with safety practices, quality norms, and 5S workplace standards.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate should have 3 to 10 years of experience working as a mould machine setter in an injection moulding manufacturing setup. Practical exposure to mould changing, machine setup, and troubleshooting process issues is important. A working understanding of injection moulding machines and mould maintenance is required. Candidates must also be comfortable working in rotational shifts and should hold an ITI or Diploma qualification.
