Role overview
This role focuses on delivering early rehabilitation support to military units and training institutes, with an emphasis on proactive care before issues become more severe.
Core responsibilities
- Provide early-stage rehabilitation services to support recovery and readiness.
- Contribute to the design and rollout of prehabilitation and rehabilitation programmes.
- Work with units to organise clinics and rehabilitation sessions.
- Take part in research and development initiatives.
- Deliver on-site treatment and care for servicemen.
- Assist in the delivery of training programmes.
Challenges in the role
- Balancing multiple priorities across research, training, and direct clinical support.
- Managing rehabilitation coordination across different units at the same time.
Requirements
- A qualification in Physiotherapy is required.
- Registration with the Allied Health Professions Council (AHPC), Ministry of Health, at the full, restricted, or conditional level is required.
- A valid practising certificate is required.
- Applicants without prior work experience are welcome to apply.
- Appointment terms will depend on the candidate’s experience.
