This role sits within the planning team, which provides technical input for a broad client base. The team supports complex development proposals through every stage of the planning journey, including strategy, policy work, consenting and monitoring after consent has been granted. A strong focus is placed on infrastructure-led work and outcomes that benefit communities over the long term.

The position is based in Hamilton, Waikato, with the option to be located in Auckland.

What you will be doing

You will contribute technical planning expertise across a variety of development and infrastructure projects, helping clients navigate the planning process from early strategy through to post-consent monitoring. The role requires working closely with a team of technical specialists, advisors and communicators to deliver practical and high-quality planning solutions.

A commercial mindset toward planning and development is important, along with the ability to work effectively in a growing team.
