Private Equity Analyst

Overview

Join an entrepreneurial private equity firm focused on investing across consumer products, entertainment, and media. In this role, you’ll work closely with senior leaders on investment analysis, portfolio support, and strategic decision-making. What you’ll do

• Build and update detailed financial models such as operating models, valuation analyses, and LBO models to guide investment decisions.
• Support the evaluation and execution of platform investments, add-on acquisitions, exits, and other strategic deals, including due diligence and analysis.
• Research companies, industries, and market trends, with particular attention to consumer products and media, to strengthen investment recommendations.
• Create polished presentations, investment memos, and investor-facing materials that clearly communicate findings and viewpoints.
• Work with portfolio companies on analytical tasks and strategic initiatives to uncover and support value-creation opportunities.
• Look for practical ways to improve processes and contribute beyond core assignments in a lean team setting.
• Communicate professionally with management teams, advisors, and investors to build productive working relationships.

What you need

• 1 to 3 years of experience in investment banking, ideally with M&A transaction exposure.
• Strong capability in financial modeling, valuation, and analytical problem-solving.
• Ability to deliver accurate, high-quality output with limited oversight.
• Advanced PowerPoint and presentation skills, including the ability to tell a compelling story with data.
• Clear and polished communication skills for working with executives and external stakeholders.
• Strong attention to detail and a consistent focus on accuracy and quality.

Preferred background

• Exposure to sell-side M&A processes is an advantage.
• Interest in consumer products, entertainment, media, or similar sectors is helpful.
• A proactive, entrepreneurial mindset and a solutions-oriented approach are valued.
