Role Overview
The Quality Analyst supports hospital-wide quality activities and helps carry out quality plans for the assigned section while working under the guidance of the designated supervisor.
Key Responsibilities
- Gather information from medical records and other sources, analyze the findings, and prepare section reports that include summaries, trend analysis, charts or graphs, and recommendations.
- Take part in performance improvement teams and projects, including related activities.
- Check and document the correctness of data collected for improvement work and decision-support reporting.
- Handle incidents submitted through the Safety Reporting System, carry out investigations, and support root cause analysis for actual or potential serious and sentinel events.
- Keep the databases for the assigned section up to date and organized.
- Carry out clinical duties connected to the relevant specialty, such as nursing, laboratory, respiratory, pharmacy, or similar areas, as assigned.
- Join committees and task forces when required.
- Deliver training and awareness sessions related to the assigned section, quality, safety, and customer service as needed.
- Contribute to the execution of Quality Management and Quality Improvement programs.
- Follow all hospital policies and procedures at all times.
- Participate in personal learning and support the training and development of others where applicable.
- Perform any additional related duties assigned by the organization.
Requirements
- A Master’s degree or a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing or another closely related field is required.
- At least 2 years of relevant experience is required with a Master’s degree.
- At least 4 years of relevant experience is required with a Bachelor’s degree.
- Professional certification in healthcare quality, patient safety, or a related quality discipline is preferred, such as CPHQ, CPPS, CPHRM, Lean, Six Sigma (ASQ or equivalent), ISQUA, or similar.
- Experience with Magnet designation or Joint Commission International (JCI) accreditation is highly preferred.

This role is based onsite in Al Madinah, Saudi Arabia. The position is full-time. No salary details, openings, or start date were specified.
