Reach Operator

Role overview

A well-established supplier in the plumbing and bathroom industry is looking for an experienced Reach Operator to join its team in Māngere, Auckland. The business supports trade, commercial, and retail customers across New Zealand and is known for dependable service, quality products, and a strong community presence.

Working schedule

This is a Monday to Friday position, with hours from 6:00 am to 3:00 pm. Full-time hours may extend up to 45 per week.

Key responsibilities

• Use a reach forklift safely and effectively throughout the warehouse
• Load, unload, move, and stack stock with care and accuracy
• Pick and pack orders with RF scanners and warehouse management systems
• Restock inventory and help keep stock records accurate
• Support other general warehouse tasks when needed
• Carry out daily equipment checks before starting work and report any defects or damage quickly
• Keep the work area tidy, organised, and compliant with safety expectations
• Consistently follow health and safety procedures

Candidate profile

The ideal applicant will bring reach forklift operating experience, a current licence, and prior exposure to warehouse or distribution work. You should be accurate, dependable, and able to work well on your own as well as with a team.

Strong communication skills, a willingness to learn, a positive approach, and reliable transport are also important. A clean Ministry of Justice report is required.
