Role overview
Sunda International is seeking a Recruitment Manager to lead hiring operations in Accra, Greater Accra Region, Ghana. This position focuses on building an effective talent acquisition function that can support the company’s staffing needs across production, engineering, maintenance, quality assurance, supply chain, finance, sales, and corporate teams.
What you will do
- Create and put into action recruitment plans that align with the organization’s headcount needs.
- Oversee the complete hiring process from workforce planning and job advertising through sourcing, screening, interviewing, selection, offer handling, and onboarding.
- Hire for a broad mix of roles across operational, technical, and corporate departments.
- Work closely with hiring managers to understand staffing priorities and recommend practical recruitment approaches.
- Develop a steady pipeline of candidates using job portals, social media, agencies, referrals, career events, and professional networking.
- Keep vacancies moving quickly while balancing hiring quality and recruitment spend.
- Arrange interviews, assessments, background verification, and reference checks.
- Track key hiring metrics such as time to fill, cost per hire, quality of hire, and offer acceptance rate.
- Make sure recruitment activities comply with labor requirements, company rules, and fair hiring standards.
- Support and strengthen the employer brand to help the company attract strong candidates.
- Guide, mentor, and develop the recruitment team so hiring targets are achieved.
- Prepare periodic recruitment updates and share market intelligence with senior leadership.
What we are looking for
- A bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Industrial Relations, or a closely related discipline.
- At least 5 years of recruitment experience, with 2–3 years spent in a managerial position, ideally in a manufacturing setting.
- Hands-on background in hiring technical and operational roles within manufacturing.
- Solid knowledge of recruitment methods, competency-based interviews, and broader talent acquisition practices.
- Understanding of employment regulations and labor law requirements.
- Experience with applicant tracking systems, recruiter tools, and online hiring platforms.
- Strong communication, stakeholder management, and negotiation skills.
- Good analytical thinking, organization, and problem-solving ability.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
- HR certifications such as CIPD, SHRM, HRCI, or similar qualifications will be an advantage.
