Role overview
As a Sales Advisor with H&M, you will be central to delivering a strong in-store experience. Your day will involve greeting shoppers, helping them navigate the store, highlighting products, and making sure the customer leaves with what they need. You will work in line with the brand’s values and contribute to both team performance and overall business success.
Key responsibilities
- Use your knowledge of fashion and merchandise to help customers make confident buying decisions.
- Work closely with colleagues to provide consistent service throughout the customer journey.
- Keep the sales area and stockroom neatly arranged, replenished, and visually appealing.
- Assist with store opening and closing routines when required.
- Present yourself professionally and reflect the brand positively in every customer interaction.
Team environment
You will be part of the store team, which forms the front line of the business. In larger stores, this team may include Sales Advisors, Department Managers, Store Managers, Visual Merchandisers, Assistant Store Managers, Cash Office Responsible, and Delivery Responsible. You will also interact with the wider area team across stores to share knowledge and support performance. The role focuses on helping customers feel confident, express their style, and access fashion that is both current and sustainable.
Candidate profile
The ideal candidate should already have experience in customer service, especially in fashion, retail, or a closely related environment. You should enjoy helping people, be enthusiastic about fashion, and be motivated by delivering a great in-store experience and supporting sales. Success in this role also depends on being comfortable in a fast-moving, team-oriented setting, communicating well, showing creativity and curiosity, and being willing to learn new store technologies. Flexibility and a hands-on approach are also important.
