Role Summary

Analog is looking for an experienced Senior Backend Engineer to build backend systems for cloud and service-heavy environments. The role calls for strong exposure to large-scale cloud infrastructure, edge computing, and transfer of data across different network protocols. Experience with container-based development and cloud-to-edge design approaches is especially valued.

In this position, you will design, develop, and improve backend platforms that are scalable, dependable, and built for performance. You will partner with colleagues across functions to tackle complex engineering problems and help deliver new technical solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Architect and build backend services and systems that can scale while remaining fast and dependable.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to solve challenging technical issues.
• Work with teammates to create solutions aligned with both business needs and engineering goals.
• Apply strong software engineering practices, including agile delivery, continuous integration, and test-driven development.
• Support, maintain, and enhance existing applications and services.

Qualifications

• A bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science or a closely related discipline.
• At least 5 years of professional experience developing large-scale production systems in C# or C++.
• Hands-on experience with cloud services, especially large cloud environments, edge compute, and data movement across multiple network protocols.
• Prior work in containerized development and cloud-to-edge patterns is strongly preferred.
• Good command of agile development methods and continuous integration workflows.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting ability, with the capacity to work independently and collaboratively.
• Clear communication and strong teamwork skills.

This role is based in Abu Dhabi, Abu Dhabi Emirate, United Arab Emirates and is a full-time, on-site position.
