Role overview

Wilmar Sugar & Renewables is looking for a Storeperson to support site inventory management and keep stock control running smoothly. This role is based at Plane Creek Mill in North Queensland, in the Sarina area, which offers a relaxed lifestyle with beaches, outdoor activities, hiking, and water sports close by.

Working pattern

This is a permanent position on a year-round day-work roster. Some weekend shifts and overtime may be required.

Key duties

• Issue stock in line with the required systems and procedures, and assist site employees at the counter.
• Carry out routine stocktakes, maintain precise records, and log/report stock shortages. Help make sure maintenance spares and equipment remain available.
• Handle inbound and outbound deliveries, including loading and unloading tasks.
• Keep storage areas clean and orderly, and manage dangerous goods in accordance with MSDS requirements.

What you should bring

The preferred applicant should be comfortable using Microsoft Office, have practical experience with SAP or a comparable warehouse system, and have previously worked in a warehousing environment. A Forklift High Risk Work Licence would be an advantage.
