MAYA International is seeking a Waterproofing Specialist for work in Jiddah, Makkah, Saudi Arabia.

Role Summary

This position focuses on waterproofing tasks across residential, commercial, and industrial buildings. The work covers areas such as roofs, basements, foundations, and outside surfaces. The role is a full-time hybrid arrangement, with regular site visits and some tasks that can be handled remotely, such as planning, coordination, and reporting.

What You Will Do

You will inspect sites, prepare surfaces, apply waterproofing products, and make sure the work meets safety and quality expectations. The job also calls for close coordination with project managers, contractors, and other trades to organize schedules, align work plans, and address technical challenges. In addition, you will keep records of completed work, note material usage, and take care of basic tool and equipment maintenance.

Qualifications and Requirements

The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in waterproofing, construction, or building maintenance, along with practical knowledge of common waterproofing systems and materials. You should be able to understand basic technical drawings, project plans, and specifications related to the work. A strong grasp of safety procedures, PPE usage, and site safety compliance is required.

This role also demands physical fitness for manual work, including lifting, climbing, and performing tasks in different weather and site conditions. Strong attention to detail, a quality-focused approach, and the ability to identify and fix waterproofing issues are important. Good communication skills are needed for working with supervisors, clients, and team members, as well as for maintaining accurate documentation. Basic numeracy and organization skills are useful for estimating materials, tracking time, and handling small tasks independently. Experience in Jiddah or similar environments and a valid driver’s license are advantageous.
