Role Overview
This on-site business development internship focuses on sales support through customer calling, order verification, and follow-up coordination. The intern will help recover abandoned carts, confirm cash-on-delivery orders, and support smoother order processing.
Key Responsibilities
- Reach out to customers who left products in their cart without completing checkout and work to convert those leads into orders.
- Handle customer concerns such as pricing, product trust, delivery clarity, and related objections during calls.
- Present products again in a convincing manner and share payment links, special offers, or COD options when relevant.
- Call COD customers before dispatch to verify the order, confirm the address, check availability, and ensure genuine purchase intent.
- Help lower fake orders, order refusals, and return-to-origin cases by re-confirming delivery details where needed.
- Follow up with customers through phone calls and WhatsApp messages to keep orders moving smoothly.
- Coordinate with the logistics and operations teams for any corrections or updates required.
- Keep the order status updated accurately in the CRM or order management panel.
Eligibility
Applications are open only to candidates who can work full-time from the office, are able to begin the internship between 25 June 2026 and 30 July 2026, can commit to a 3-month duration, are based in Delhi, and have the relevant interest and skills for the role.
Requirements
- Experience or familiarity with telecalling, inside sales, or e-commerce-related calling.
- Strong Hindi communication skills; English knowledge will be an added advantage.
- Ability to persuade customers, stay patient, and manage objections effectively.
- Comfort with repetitive calling tasks and target-driven work.
- Basic working knowledge of CRM tools, Shopify, WooCommerce, or similar order panels.
- Good command of MS Excel and clear communication skills.

Compensation and Duration
The internship offers a stipend of INR 10,000 to 12,000 per month. The internship duration is 3 months and it starts immediately.
