Role overview

McGowan Mortgages, a high-performing branch of NEXA Mortgage LLC, is looking for a remote Application Specialist to support the front end of the sales process. This role serves as the first touchpoint for new borrowers and helps ensure each lead receives fast, professional, and helpful communication.

The team works with more than 300 wholesale lenders to identify the right pricing and loan programs for each borrower. The Application Specialist plays an important part in starting the pre-approval journey and shaping the overall client experience from the very first interaction.

What you will do

Respond to incoming leads quickly, with the goal of making contact within 60 seconds by phone, text, and email.
Evaluate borrower information and start the pre-approval workflow by gathering financial documents and reviewing initial loan scenarios.
Deliver a strong customer experience by setting a professional, responsive, and supportive tone for every client interaction.
