About the Role

Peaksware is hiring a Creative Producer to support TrainingPeaks and TrainHeroic by planning and delivering high-quality video and photography assets for marketing use. The position sits within a portfolio of brands that includes TrainingPeaks, MakeMusic, Alfred Music, and TrainHeroic, all focused on helping people improve through deliberate practice and performance.

This role is central to ensuring the brands are represented with strong, consistent visual storytelling. You will work across internal creative and marketing teams, plus external vendors and talent, to turn briefs into polished photo, video, and motion assets across multiple channels.

What You’ll Do

  • Plan and produce video content for audience engagement and acquisition, including storyboarding and uploading assets for different video channels.
  • Build and manage a network of freelance videographers, editors, motion designers, and on-camera talent, including rate discussions and scheduling.
  • Lead photo and video shoots from concept through final delivery, coordinating selects, stakeholder feedback, and edit rounds.
  • Run production schedules and handle call sheets, location permits, equipment rentals, and travel arrangements for outside crews.
  • Partner with Brand and Creative leadership to keep shoots on budget, on-brand, and on schedule.
  • Own the digital asset management system, including access control, rights tracking, taxonomy, auditing, search improvements, and long-term asset strategy.
  • Receive, organize, and distribute vendor-created assets through the DAM and related access portals.
  • Stay available for both planned campaigns and urgent creative requests across teams.
  • Source and recommend vendors, contractors, and production partners that deliver strong visual quality within budget limits.
  • Review final post-production output to make sure it is optimized for each distribution channel and meets quality standards.
  • Follow established workflows for project tracking, archiving, progress reporting, tagging, and storage of ad creative and low-resolution time-coded video in the DAM.
  • Keep a single on-site secure location for high-resolution video drives that internal stakeholders can access easily.
  • Collaborate with marketing and external design partners to develop engaging content aligned with audience expectations.
  • Apply brand guidelines consistently across video and motion design deliverables.
  • Work both in studio/office settings and on location as needed.
  • Maintain assets and documentation across multiple storage volumes and online asset systems.

Requirements

  • At least 4 years of experience editing video and photos successfully using industry-standard tools, supported by a portfolio.
  • At least 2 years of motion graphics experience with integrated video and audio production.
  • At least 2 years of experience operating video and editing equipment for staged or documentary-style shoots.
  • Background working with marketing teams on customer campaign planning and execution.
  • Experience collaborating with agencies, contractors, and talent.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and time-management skills with the ability to set clear expectations.
  • Working knowledge of Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe After Effects, Bynder or similar DAM tools, Confluence, Asana, and Google Workspace.
  • Understanding of streaming video fundamentals such as compression, codecs, bitrate, and frame rates.
  • Degrees are not required; the company values continued learning through degrees, certifications, bootcamps, online training, self-teaching, and other education paths.
  • Preferred: solid motion graphics knowledge.
  • Preferred: strong photography and videography ability across pre-production, production, and post-production, including composition awareness such as light, space, contrast, and hierarchy.
  • Preferred: experience with AI creation tools such as Midjourney, Nano Banana, Sora, Firefly, and Gemini.
  • Preferred: familiarity with Figma and design-system-based visual composition work.
