Role overview
Tesla is looking for a seasoned Lead Trainer to shape and run training programs that support business goals in a customer support environment. This position is based in Henderson, NV and is suited to someone who enjoys a fast-moving workplace, can adapt quickly when priorities change, and contributes to a constructive learning culture.
Key responsibilities
- Design, update, and improve training programs so they stay aligned with operational goals, using performance data to guide decisions.
- Coach and mentor trainers to strengthen agent performance and close knowledge gaps.
- Set the standard for effective training delivery and ensure sessions remain consistent, engaging, and practical.
- Run one-on-one coaching conversations with agents, then build action plans from QA outcomes and performance metrics.
- Develop strong working relationships with trainees, operations teams, and leadership to keep training plans and updates moving smoothly.
- Partner with instructional designers to improve training content and identify new areas where training is needed.
- Support learning initiatives covering soft skills, product knowledge, and system or process updates.
- Apply adult learning practices when creating and refining decks, guides, and assessments.
- Help teams adapt to organizational change, including new policies, tools, and technologies.
- Promote a growth-oriented, inclusive, and positive learning environment even in high-pressure settings.
