Role overview

This is a hands-on delivery and installation position in which you will work as part of a two-person crew. The job involves completing 10 to 15 home deliveries each day and placing or installing furniture in customers’ homes. It is physically demanding and includes regular lifting of heavy items, moving through stairs, and working in tight spaces.

Pay and working pattern

The role offers a salary of €40,508 per year, which works out at €19.80 per hour, plus an annual performance bonus of up to €2,000 paid quarterly. A €1,000 sign-on bonus is also available, paid as €500 after 3 months and €500 after 6 months.

The rota runs on a two-week cycle. In week one, the schedule is Monday to Saturday from 7:00 am to 4:00 pm, totalling 48 hours. In week two, the schedule is Tuesday to Friday from 7:00 am to 6:00 pm, totalling 40 hours. The average working week is 44 hours. The role is permanent.

What you will do

• Deliver furniture into customers’ homes safely and professionally.
• Contact customers before arrival so they know when to expect the delivery.
• Place furniture in the room requested and ensure no rubbish is left behind.
• Demonstrate the company’s values and those of its brand partners in every interaction.
• Share feedback with teammates and senior managers to help improve service quality.
• Inspect the allocated vehicle and equipment each day and report defects or missing items right away.
• Follow all government driving rules and company procedures at all times.

Licence and experience requirements

Applicants must hold a 7.5T licence, grandfather rights or the ROI equivalent, a current Digi Tacho card, CPC card, and a valid manual driving licence. A valid driving licence must have been held for at least 12 months and must have fewer than 6 penalty points.
