Role Overview
The Fleet Incharge will oversee day-to-day transport activity, keeping trucks moving efficiently, safely, and in line with company and regulatory requirements. This role combines dispatch coordination, fuel and maintenance control, driver supervision, compliance checks, and reporting.
Daily Fleet Operations
- Allocate transport jobs to drivers after considering route, cargo type, and available working time.
- Improve route planning to cut down unused travel distance and make better use of the fleet through Wialon or Geotab tools.
- Monitor truck movement in real time and quickly handle breakdowns, delays, or checkpoint-related issues.
- Make sure drivers follow TGA rules for working hours and rest periods.
Cost Control and Efficiency
- Review daily diesel usage for each truck using the FLS sensor and raise reports whenever usage deviates from expected levels.
- Study the reasons behind excessive fuel consumption and guide drivers who are not meeting efficiency standards.
- Plan preventive servicing for trucks according to mileage so breakdowns are reduced.
- Keep track of tire wear, oil usage, and filter replacement needs to limit unplanned repair costs.
Driver Management
- Create driver duty rosters and leave plans to keep operations running without interruption.
- Assess drivers every month against KPIs such as fuel economy, punctual deliveries, violations, and accidents.
- Train newly joined drivers on tracking systems, company policies, and eco-driving methods.
- Review accidents and traffic violations, then share recommendations with management.
Compliance and Documentation
- Check that operating cards, MVPI, insurance, and driver licenses remain valid.
- Prepare transport documents through the Naql platform and follow cargo manifest updates on Bayan.
- Store diesel, maintenance, and weighbridge invoices, then match them with system records.
- Send weekly updates to senior management covering costs, revenue, operational issues, and completion rates.
Performance Indicators
- Average fuel consumption
- Fleet utilization rate, measured by trucks operating each day
- On-time delivery performance
- Cost per kilometer
- Empty kilometers as a share of total monthly mileage
- Accidents and violations, with the target of zero major accidents

This position is based in Al Jubayl, Saudi Arabia and is a full-time onsite role.
