Regency at Hualalai is a retirement and assisted living community built around compassionate support, wellness, and helping residents stay as independent as possible. The community is designed for older adults who can no longer live on their own, and team members play an important role in creating a safe, caring, home-like environment where residents are treated with dignity.

Role Summary

In this full-time housekeeping role, you will care for residents’ rooms and shared spaces throughout the community. The position involves following cleaning schedules, working alongside nursing services to coordinate daily housekeeping, and meeting sanitary and safety expectations at all times. Weekend coverage on a rotating basis is required.

Key Duties

• Help maintain a respectful, private, independent, and comfortable environment for residents.
• Transport linens, towels, toiletries, and cleaning materials on wheeled carts and keep supply areas organized.
• Sanitize equipment and surfaces with germicidal products or steam-based sterilizing equipment.
• Clean resident rooms and common spaces such as hallways, lobbies, lounges, restrooms, corridors, elevators, and stairways, and remove trash to meet health and cleanliness standards.
• Dust and shine furniture and equipment.
• Communicate appropriately with residents, their families, visitors, volunteers, and fellow employees.

Requirements

• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Genuine compassion and interest in serving an older adult population.

Schedule
