Overview

Healthcare Services Group (HCSG) is hiring a Housekeeper for a long-term care setting in Bridgeport, WV. This role is central to keeping the facility clean, sanitary, and safe for residents, visitors, and staff. HCSG emphasizes service excellence and improving the daily experience of the people and communities it supports.

What you’ll do

• Carry out everyday cleaning duties across resident rooms, bathrooms, shared spaces, and office areas.
• Make sure all spaces are cleaned and disinfected according to set procedures and safety standards.
• Keep simple records of completed cleaning work and escalate maintenance or safety concerns to a supervisor.
• Apply infection-control practices and universal precautions to maintain a hygienic environment.
• Provide courteous, positive interaction with residents, employees, and visitors.
• Take on other tasks as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or an equivalent credential.
• Prior housekeeping experience is helpful, but not mandatory.
• A professional, upbeat attitude and the ability to communicate well with residents, administrators, and HCSG leadership.
• Must comply with COVID-19 vaccination requirements.
• Able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and push or pull up to 50 pounds.
• Must be able to stand, sit, bend, and walk for long periods.
• Capable of performing repetitive tasks throughout the day.
• Comfortable working with cleaning chemicals and supplies.
• Can follow spoken and written directions.
• Residency within the service area is required.
