Role Summary
Diamond Baseball Holdings is looking for a detail-driven and people-oriented Human Resources Coordinator to help manage everyday HR activities across its group of Minor League Baseball clubs. The position is remote, with a preference for candidates in the New York City metro area because many club partners and internal contacts are based there.
This opening is intended to cover a maternity leave period and is expected to continue afterward as an ongoing support position within the HR team.
The role offers broad exposure to employee relations, onboarding, compliance, recruiting coordination, HR systems, and general HR administration in a fast-moving, collaborative environment that works across multiple states and time zones.

Diamond Baseball Holdings owns and manages 49 Minor League Baseball clubs affiliated with Major League Baseball throughout the United States and Canada. The organization focuses on strengthening local communities, creating memorable fan experiences, and fostering positive, people-first cultures across its clubs.
HR Operations and Employee Support
- Act as a primary contact for routine HR questions from employees across multiple clubs.
- Support onboarding and offboarding for both full-time and seasonal staff.
- Coordinate new-hire documents, background screening, and system access/setup.
- Maintain employee files and keep HR records accurate and up to date.
- Help manage organizational charts, trackers, and HR reporting materials.
Recruiting and Hiring Coordination
- Assist with posting roles on hiring platforms such as Teamwork Online and Paycom.
- Coordinate onboarding logistics and communication for incoming employees.
- Update recruiting trackers and keep hiring status information current.
Compliance and Administrative Support
- Support compliance tasks such as I-9 processing, policy acknowledgements, and tracking required training.
- Help maintain consistency and accuracy in HR processes and communications.
- Assist with follow-up related to timekeeping, when needed.
Employee Relations and Team Support
- Assist with documentation and follow-up items tied to employee relations matters.
- Coordinate employee engagement efforts, training sessions, and internal communications.
- Provide administrative assistance for HR projects and department-wide initiatives.
- Handle sensitive employee information with professionalism and strict confidentiality.
Learning and Organizational Development
- Support the coordination and administration of learning and organizational development programs across the company.
- Help execute leadership development, training, and employee development initiatives.
- Assist with launching new L&OD programs and pilot efforts as business needs change.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate has 1–3 years of experience in human resources, recruiting, operations, or administrative support. A bachelor’s degree is preferred but not mandatory.
Strong organization, close attention to detail, and excellent written and verbal communication are important. The role also requires the ability to juggle multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and work effectively in a fast-paced setting.
Applicants should be comfortable working on their own while staying closely connected with a remote team. Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools, especially Excel, Word, and Outlook, is expected. Experience with HRIS platforms such as Paycom is considered an advantage, and background in sports, entertainment, hospitality, or multi-location businesses is also a plus.

Work Arrangement
