About the Role
This position is for a highly motivated IT and Digital Transformation Engineer who will drive technology-led improvements across the organization. The focus is on upgrading productivity systems, strengthening ERP usage, building AI-enabled automations, and ensuring the IT environment remains dependable, secure, and scalable.
The ideal person will combine technical depth with an understanding of business operations, using that mix to streamline processes, close operational gaps, and create practical digital tools that help teams work faster and more accurately.
The role involves close coordination with management and department leaders to identify inefficiencies, improve internal systems, and support the company’s broader digital modernization agenda.
Key Responsibilities
Digital transformation and productivity: Lead company-wide technology improvement efforts aimed at increasing efficiency, speed, and output. Review existing workflows to spot automation opportunities and redesign processes where needed. Create useful digital solutions for teams across Operations, HR, Finance, Supply Chain, Marketing, Sales, Roastery, Kitchen, and Customer Experience. Develop internal dashboards, forms, workflows, and reporting tools that reduce repetitive manual effort and improve decision-making. Promote ongoing improvement through lean, technology-enabled working methods.
AI, automation, and software solutions: Design and maintain AI-based tools and AI agents that support business functions. Use AI platforms, APIs, automation tools, and internal software to eliminate repetitive work. Build department-specific systems that help teams complete tasks more quickly and with fewer errors. Assess emerging technologies, test their practicality, and introduce tools that improve company performance. Coordinate with external developers and vendors when custom development is required.
ERP system management and development: Take ownership of the ERP environment, making sure it is configured correctly, maintained properly, and used effectively. Identify functional gaps and suggest enhancements that better support business needs. Work with departments to ensure data accuracy, aligned workflows, proper permissions, and efficient reporting. Help connect the ERP with POS, accounting, inventory, HR, e-commerce, CRM, and productivity platforms. Liaise with ERP vendors and implementation partners to refine modules, resolve issues, and expand functionality.
IT infrastructure and cybersecurity: Maintain a secure, reliable, and efficient IT setup across the organization. Monitor hardware, software, networks, cloud services, user accounts, and access rights. Apply cybersecurity best practices to safeguard systems, data, and digital assets. Keep backup, recovery, access control, and data protection processes in place. Watch for security risks involving email, passwords, devices, cloud tools, and third-party applications. Support adherence to internal IT rules and security standards.
Productivity systems and tools: Administer and improve collaboration and productivity platforms such as ClickUp, Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, and similar tools. Create workflows, automations, dashboards, templates, and reporting structures within those platforms. Ensure task and project management systems are used consistently across departments. Train employees to use digital tools effectively and monitor adoption to improve accountability and execution speed.
Data, reporting, and business intelligence: Build dashboards and reports that help management follow performance, productivity, operational efficiency, and departmental KPIs. Integrate data from multiple systems into usable insights. Improve the quality, structure, and visibility of organizational data. Replace manual spreadsheet-based reporting with automated reporting where possible.
Vendor and technical support management: Coordinate with software vendors, ERP providers, IT service firms, and external developers. Assess new software, subscriptions, and platforms before rollout. Provide troubleshooting and technical support to employees when needed. Keep clear documentation for systems, workflows, access rights, integrations, and technical procedures.
