About the company
You would be joining a mature international technology business that is in the middle of a major refresh of its internal systems and operational setup.
The role sits within a cloud-first environment and is responsible for supporting staff across several locations while working alongside internal technology and security partners.
This is a practical, hands-on position with a wide scope across identity, endpoint administration, SaaS tools, user support, and day-to-day operational improvement.
Role overview
The IT Systems Engineer will own core IT operations and help ensure smooth service delivery across business applications, devices, access management, and support workflows. The position also involves improving processes, strengthening documentation, and contributing to a more efficient technology environment.

Key responsibilities
- Run identity and access administration across several cloud platforms and business applications
- Manage endpoint administration tools for both Windows and Mac devices
- Handle authentication, access control, and user lifecycle tasks
- Oversee onboarding and offboarding across essential company systems
- Deliver first- and second-line support for hardware, software, access, and login issues
- Maintain support for remote access solutions and endpoint security tools
- Enhance operational workflows through automation and process improvements
- Look into and address security-related incidents and access problems
- Produce and update technical documents, support materials, and runbooks
- Work with technology and security teams to keep operations running effectively
Required experience and strengths
- Solid background administering Microsoft 365 and modern identity platforms
- Experience with cloud-based productivity and collaboration systems
- Strong grasp of identity management, authentication, and access control concepts
- Hands-on experience with endpoint management platforms in enterprise settings
- Ability to support both Windows and Mac users
- Experience managing SaaS tools and cloud-first environments
- Strong troubleshooting ability across devices, identity, and application issues
- Scripting or automation experience with PowerShell, Python, or similar tools
- Excellent written and verbal communication, stakeholder handling, and documentation skills
