About the Role

The Junior Loan Processor is an entry-level position within the in-house processing team and plays a key part in keeping the loan pipeline moving efficiently. This role is suited to someone who wants to build a career in the mortgage industry and is eager to learn. You will assist processors and loan officers by helping keep loan files structured, accurate, and complete while gaining hands-on exposure to the processing workflow at a leading mortgage brokerage.

Responsibilities

• Support processors with document collection, verification tasks, and preparation of loan files.
• Check loan files for accuracy and completeness, and keep them well organized.
• Reach out to loan officers, clients, and third parties to obtain the information needed for processing.
• Help ensure files comply with company standards, lender expectations, and applicable compliance rules.
• Contribute to faster turnaround times and a more efficient workflow for the processing team.

Requirements

• Strong focus on detail and accuracy.
• Good organization and time-management abilities.
• Clear communication skills, both written and spoken.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and remain focused in a busy environment.
