Overview

This opportunity is being represented for a partner employer that oversees the application process and all follow-up steps. The hiring company is seeking a Network Administrator in the United States to support core enterprise network operations.

The role is centered on keeping essential IT infrastructure stable, secure, and high-performing. You will manage, configure, and maintain network systems that power everyday business activity. The position blends practical troubleshooting with proactive monitoring and tuning of network performance. You will work closely with IT support teams and leadership to resolve issues, introduce improvements, and preserve dependable connectivity across systems. Part of the job also includes spotting risk, replacing aging infrastructure, and keeping systems aligned with operational standards. The work environment is structured, mission-driven, and suited to someone who can operate independently while coordinating effectively with technical teams.

Accountabilities

Set up, configure, administer, and sustain enterprise network systems and associated infrastructure.
Track network health, detect weak points, and apply improvements that strengthen reliability and performance.
Investigate and fix network incidents in partnership with IT support teams to ensure quick resolution.
Maintain, refresh, and replace hardware and software components to keep systems secure and up to date.
Assist with system build-out, deployment, and configuration for new network environments.
Prepare technical documentation and provide weekly updates covering network activity, issues, and improvements.
Take part in training efforts and provide after-hours remote assistance when needed.

Requirements

A bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a closely related discipline is preferred.
At least 7 years of experience in network administration or enterprise networking is required.
CompTIA Network+ can offset up to 2 years of experience, while Cisco CCNA can offset up to 3 years.
Solid understanding of networking fundamentals, infrastructure management, and performance optimization.
Practical experience in Microsoft environments, including Windows Server 2022, Windows 11, Microsoft 365, Exchange/Outlook, Active Directory, SCCM, SCOM, and ServiceNow.
Basic knowledge of SAP user administration is preferred.
Strong analytical thinking and troubleshooting ability in complex network settings.
Clear communication skills and the ability to collaborate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Must be a U.S. citizen and able to obtain and keep a Public Trust clearance.
