Network Operations Manager

Role overview

This part-time, on-site position is based in Abu Dhabi and focuses on keeping the organization’s network environment stable, secure, and highly available. The role supports payment-related, transaction-processing, and financial service operations by ensuring the network runs reliably day to day.

What you will do

• Track network health, uptime, and performance across the environment.
• Handle incidents and help restore service quickly when issues arise.
• Plan and coordinate maintenance windows, upgrades, and operational changes.
• Work with internal technical teams and outside vendors to investigate and resolve problems.
• Improve network efficiency and support ongoing enhancements to the infrastructure.
• Help maintain security and compliance expectations relevant to the network.
• Prepare and update operational documentation, procedures, and reports.
• Support capacity planning and continuity measures to maintain service reliability.

What we are looking for

• Strong background in network administration and day-to-day network operations, especially in demanding, high-importance environments.
• Solid troubleshooting ability for connectivity, performance, and security-related network issues.
• Experience managing operations, incident response, and maintenance for network services.
• Working knowledge of switching, routing, firewalls, VPNs, load balancers, and monitoring platforms.
• Understanding of security practices and standards used in financial services or payment systems.
• Ability to document processes, write reports, and communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Experience in financial services, payment processing, or transaction-based systems is a plus.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent hands-on experience.
• Professional certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, Network+, or ITIL are preferred.
